Privacy Policy // FireForge
Offline-first data sovereignty specification for the FireForge AutoCAD plugin. No drawing collection. No external transmission. Local session control only.
Privacy Policy — FireForge
Trust and data integrity matter in fire protection engineering and CAD production workflows. This Privacy Policy outlines how FireForge (the "Plugin"), an extension for Autodesk AutoCAD, handles your information.
FireForge is engineered for local, offline drawing preparation. Our privacy approach is straightforward: We do not collect, store, or transmit your DWG files, layer data, or personal information.
The Plugin operates as a self-contained desktop extension within your local installation of Autodesk AutoCAD on Windows.
- No Drawing Logging
Your architectural background DWGs, separated output files, layer lists, and geometry are processed entirely on your local workstation. No drawing content is uploaded to any server.
- No External Transmission
The Plugin does not use internet connections to upload telemetry, drawing data, tracking logs, or project configurations to any external server or cloud service. Processing stays local.
- Local Settings & Logs
Plugin preferences (processing mode, spacing, output folder, ribbon visibility) are saved locally in appsettings.json inside the bundle. Any operational logs are written to local files on your machine and remain under your control.
The Plugin may be distributed via the Autodesk App Store.
- Licensing & Entitlements
When downloading or purchasing the Plugin, transaction processing and user entitlement checks are managed by Autodesk. The Plugin only verifies local entitlement tokens to confirm your license state.
- External Links
Support references may point to ahmedalsayed.work. If you follow links to the support site in a web browser, standard web server logs apply on the browser side, independent of the plugin workspace.
This policy may update occasionally to align with new AutoCAD versions or distribution changes. Any updates will be logged here with a revised "Last Updated" timestamp. Because the app operates offline for drawing processing, functional privacy updates will not change the baseline rule: your drawing data remains yours.
